Groove Tubes 12AX7-R3

The 3rd offering from the same Russian tube factory that builds the Groove Tubes R1 and R2, but this one has medium sized plates and a nice balanced tone. Good midrange and average gain. Like all Russian preamp tubes, the sound is a bit lacking in treble area, which is one reason the have a low microphonics and do not feedback or ring as much.
