High voltage ceramic caps added
We added MuRata ceramic high voltage caps to our inventory. All values are available in 1kV, 2kV, 3,15kV and 6,3kV.

Banzai website faster
We added another new server last night and did extensive code optimization. The website is noticeably faster now.
Our move to the new location has been completed successfully. We are catching up on pending orders as we are now able to ship twice as many orders per day as before.
We will be working between christmas and the new year. Staff will be present and available via phone on every day including holidays to answer your requests.

Banzai has moved
We have successfully moved to our new location in the former Telefunken factory in the north of Berlin. The move was made necessary by the quickly increasing number of orders. We thank all our customers for their business and support. During the upcoming days all pending orders will be processed. Support tickets will be answered as quickly as possible.

Banzai will be moving
The increase in orders we've seen this year (and especially in the past few weeks) made it necessary to move to a larger facility. Banzai will be moving to its new home in the former Telefunken factory in the north of Berlin within a few days. Order processing will continue without interruption. There might be a delay in email processing and phone support while the computers and phone system will be moved the upcoming weekend. Please be patient if your support request is not answered immediately or the phone lines are busy.
We are working on the issue of our servers being so slow because of high traffic. One more server has been added today and we will double our capacities within a few weeks.
The search engine that we had written ourselves was not powerful enough to deal with the amount of items on our website so we had it reworked by the best team in the business, Google Custom Shop. It works nicely now, check it out, now you might actually find what you are looking for.

New shipping costs
We added a few new shipping methods to the website and were able to substantially reduce the shipping cost within Europe while reducing the delivery time to many countries too. Orders over 100 Euro now ship free within Germany.

We changed our shipping policy. All orders now ship fully insured. If your order is lost on the way to you then you will receive either a FULL refund or a new shipment, whatever you prefer.

Hipshot, Kahler and QwikTune
Hipshot tuners and accessories are now available. We also added a nice selection of Kahler vibratos to our website. Last but not least the very popular Qwik Time tuners have been added.
More strings have been added; for example the full selections of Martin and DR strings are now available. If you never tried DR strings before then you should because they seriously rock!

New main server is online
We have successfully changed our main server last night and added two more machines to increase the performance of the website.
Since november 2006 we've had major performance issues at peak hours and we decided to get a new high-end server custom built and add two more machines to get the website performance to acceptable levels. For the past two months we have been setting the machines up and tested the implementation. The migration went smooth without any problems. In the upcoming days we will add more features to the website and reactivate a few features that were disabled to reduce the server load.

Faster shipping, reduced shipping costs
Due to the amount of shipments we are generating we were able to negotiate better deals with our main carriers. Prices for DHL shipping were reduced. Prices for GPS shipping did not change, instead we chose to upgrade to a faster service, reducing the average transit time by about two days within Europe.

Banzai Switchers released
We released three new high-end switcher pedals. The Banzai ABY Splitter lets you select any combination of two amps. With the ABC Amp Switcher you can easily route your guitar signal to three amps. The ABC Instrument switcher allows you to switch between three connected instruments.

Labels
We used about half a million plastic zip lock bags for shipping components last year and this number will increase this year. It became impossible to label each of these bags by hand. Therefore we now ship all components in separate bags labeled by an industrial labelling machine. You will find information such as part name, amount, SKU and order ID on there which will help you identify components immediately without having to decode color codes or trying to read miniature letters.
